Manifesting a dreamy storefront 🌸
Hi friends!
It’s Saturday night and I’m feeling comfy in my sweater. Yep, it’s cold again. We basically had a week of Summer and she’s gone. I’m becoming busier as expected. I feel like Fall is when things speed up extremely quickly. I just took a glance at my calendar and I basically have something going on every weekend through November 😅 Sounds stressful, but honestly, I don’t feel as stressed as I would have this time last year. I definitely feel more recharged after a mostly inside Summer.
It also helps that I’m more selective with social events and activities now. By saying yes only when I’m physically and mentally capable, I don’t feel like I’m being pulled in 20 different directions while trying to catch up on rest. I’m fully immersed in this introvert season. And honestly, it feels good!
I’m in the process of organizing another DIY bouquet picnic - this time for the public! I’m actually planning to keep this to a small group. I think large gatherings can be harder to manage, and I want to make sure my guests feel comfortable enough to connect with others in the group. I’m going to start promoting the event soon, but if you want to check it out, check out the Partiful and Luma invites!
I’m going to try to wrap this up quickly so that I can wind down. Chilly weather calls for cozy shows and movies. Maybe with a glass of wine 😉

enjoying a coffee WITHOUT working
I love bringing my laptop to coffee shops, but nowadays, I really like to enjoy my coffee without working. I feel like I’ve outgrown the need to be productive all the time, which is something I never thought I could do. This slow Summer has spoiled me so much that I never want to go back to a stressed nervous system anymore.
I came across this really cute French bakery in Burlingame called Maison Alyzée and it brought me back to my holidays in Europe. I love the concept of sipping on a drink on the sidewalk and people watching, or in my case, dog watching 😂 Sidewalk cafe culture is also very popular in Saigon, which is where I’m from. Now that I don’t go out at night anymore, I’m going to bring this back into my life!

brown tightlining
I’ve been really into tightlining these days. It gives wearable Y2K while adding a bit more ooomph to a simple makeup look. I used to only tightline my top lashes, but lately I’ve started tightlining my lower lashes as well. A dark brown pencil is perfect for daytime!
